Dr. Brandon Chapek grew up in a farming family outside of Wahoo, Nebraska. He moved to Lincoln for College where he attended The University of Nebraska. He and his wife, Kylee, have five children who keep them on their toes.
About
Early in Dr. Chapek’s dental career, he recognized how many people were living with a fear of the dentist—walking around in pain, avoiding their favorite foods, or hiding their smiles because they were afraid to seek care. He wanted to change that. His vision for Capital Dental was to create a safe, welcoming place where patients with dental anxiety could feel comfortable, heard, and cared for, without fear or judgment.

The Professional Side
Capital Dental’s Dr. Chapek attended the University of Nebraska – Lincoln where he earned a bachelor’s degree in biology and was a member of the Husker Football team. He also attended the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.
Following dental school graduation, Dr. Chapek was accepted to a one-year oral surgery fellowship at the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry. There, he received further training in sedation, wisdom tooth surgery, dental implants, bone and tissue grafting, and various other surgical procedures. While he loves surgery, he also gets excited about offering full comprehensive dental care and building new relationships with his patients.
Dr. Chapek has joined the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and is working towards a fellowship within the AAID. He is proud to be one of the few local dentists with this distinction.
Dr. Chapek is the author of Wisdom Tooth Surgery for the General Dentist, a comprehensive resource designed to help general dentists expand their surgical capabilities and confidently provide wisdom tooth care within their own practices.
