Dr. Reese Gebers

Dr. Reese Gebers grew up a native Eastern Nebraskan, being raised in small towns including Nelson, Geneva and ultimately York, where he attended high school. As a Cornhusker through and through and a Lincoln resident for close to a decade, he is excited to officially call the capital city home.

The Personal Side

Dr. Gebers recently moved into his first house with his German Shephard/Rough Collie mix, Theo. Although he has no kiddos, that 100-pound, year-and-a-half old puppy requires almost as much attention as one. Most of his time away from the office is spent at the lake, attending concerts, cooking meat on the smoker, and cheering on his favorite football teams, the Huskers and Chiefs. If you can’t find him at home, there’s a good chance he’s traveling or visiting family and friends. Although proud of his title as Dr. Gebers, his newfound favorite title is “Uncle Reese” to his baby niece, Willa.

The Professional Side

With childhood aspirations of becoming a dentist, Dr. Gebers attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences. At UNL, he was an avid member of the pre-dental club, among many other campus organizations. He then went on to attend the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. During his time at UNMC, he served as treasurer of the American Dental Education Association’s local chapter, enjoyed volunteering in the community, and spent whatever free time he had shadowing right here at Capital Dental. Dr. Gebers finds joy in connecting with patients and providing them with stress-free, comprehensive dental care.
