Meet Dr. Sean Hershberger DDS MS
Dr. Sean Hershberger is a Nebraska native. After practicing in the US Navy for 11 years, he returned with his family to The Good Life in 2023 to re-establish Nebraska roots.
The Professional Side
A graduate of the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry, Dr. Hershberger left Nebraska with his wife, Abigail, and two children to join the Navy in 2012. He practiced General Dentistry at Naval Station Norfolk (VA) and Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point (NC) before earning the privilege of attending the University of Texas Health School of Dentistry for a three-year residency in Oral Maxillofacial Radiology, an ADA-recognized Dental Specialty. He graduated with a Certificate in Radiology and a Master’s Degree, then earned board certification from the American Board of Oral Maxillofacial Radiology while stationed at Great Lakes (IL), where Navy Recruits complete basic training to become Sailors.
The Personal Side
Serving the population of Active Duty Navy Sailors and Marines was an incredible honor, and many lifelong friendships were developed. In 2023, Dr. Hershberger returned with Abigail and their eight children to Lincoln. They love being immersed in Nebraska culture, engaged with the Huskers, and close to family and friends. They are always on the go attending kids activities, sporting events, and family gatherings. Dr. Hershberger loves to be on the golf course and out in the community, and is usually recognizable by the trail of miniatures.
